Halloween at Taverham!
31st Oct 2021
Lots of spooooky outfits!
For Halloween, the children in Bure Room at Chestnut Nursery School Taverham have been working on their fine motor and hand eye co-ordination by making threaded mummies and adding eyes on to finish them off. They got very carried away doing this, so ended up with eyes everywhere! They’ve also been using shapes cut from their pumpkins to make lovely painted pictures.
The Babies in Thurne room have had a Halloween sensory week. We used string and white paint to create our own spiderwebs and made mummies using stickers. We explored the textures of pumpkins with bumps and holes, and spaghetti worms with eyeballs, alongside helping to make our glowing ghosts, and watching them as they swung from the ceiling.
We finished off the week with a spooky Halloween dress up day where everyone looked amazing!
