Children at Chestnut Nursery School NRP have been learning about waste, our environment and recycling. We had pumpkins left over from our Halloween week and we recycled them into bird feeders! Children in the pre-school room used their fine and gross motor skills to carve, scoop and tie string to hang up the pumpkins in the trees in our garden.
We will be observing the feeders over the coming weeks to see what visiting birds come to feed
