The children at Chestnut Nursery School Arden House have been busy celebrating and learning all about St Patrick's Day. In the Freesias Room, the children have been exploring a range of different textures, including Baff Gelli, Cornflour and rice. The children were very engaged when mixing the textures together and were talking about how it felt on their skin.
The Lillies Classroom have been using green playdough to make their own four-leaf clovers as well as engaging in other green and orange activities.
The Sunflower Classroom used apples to create four leaf clovers, were counting to four, talking about the importance of St Patrick's Day in Ireland and over the world. Happy St Patrick's Day from all at Arden House.
No apples were wasted today, they were washed and used to feed our Giant African Land Snails
